Culture Day

in the school that my cousins go to they have culture day. each grade is a different country and on culture day they rep that country wit the project they did on each country as well as food. $2 gets you in.... good eats and this year there was a show... an impromptu show but a show either way.

my cousins were.... Puerto Rico, Netherlands and Greece.... check out the bomb soccer stadium my lil cousin built for his Netherlands project!!!

SO yea my friend in out in Australia to hang and stuff and i read about this line of sandals Gisele Bundchen put out. A collab with Novo an Australian show brand! light bulb i asked homeboy to pick me up a pair i want any of these 2 styles. Greta in this silver or all white and the Gecco any color. I hope he runs into the store so i can get a pair... i didnt ask for him to go out and look for them only that if he came across them to pick me up a pair. woot =)

NYC cabs revamp!

So i was stuck in some traffic heading back into the BX from JFK on the Van Wick. I meant to catch a picture of the new cabs... but i didnt get to until yesterday!! first the flowers now this... it's cute though... it's not a huge change but it's totally noticeable!

so a friend of mine went down to australia for 2 weeks... next entry is goin to be about something that you can get only down under and i'm hoping he runs into it so i can get one. woot. super exclusivooo

Garden in Transit

So out of the blue i start seeing yellow cabs that look like the one here that i took a pic of. brightly colored flowers uber cute! i had to see what it was all about and ta-da it's called Garden in Transit.

my mom's hometown will almost ALWAYS be on a map of ecuador if i google it. it's the heart with the name in it JARAMIJO. my dad's hometown is a lil trickier... i was able to pinpoint it but the name of it EL ARROYO does not show on the map. I'm gettin a lil excited about Ecuador!!! my passport came like a week ago wooot =)

RUTA DEL SOL

My trip to Ecuador is a little more than a month away I'm superrrrrrrrrr excited. I just found out that we're goin to be travelling the ROUTE OF THE SUN well from Quayaquil down! this route is similar to CA's Pacific Coast Highway.... riding the coast... best of the beaches and the sun. I need to do more research see where we should hit up and must sees! I'm uber excited =)

Besides this past weekend where i kinda went a lil crazy I've been laying lay and only hittin up spot if it's worth my time and no cover duh.... but beginning of the month ugh...

like twice i've noticed him mention this enviga drink. it's a coca cola product so that means i wasnt goin to NOT try it (i'm a coca cola girl even though lately i havent been drinkin too much of it =/ sigh) anywhooooooo i went to take my passport picture at eckard which is now changing to rite aid... so yea im there taking my pic and the guy was too adorable not like cute adorable but adorable bc he was talkin soooo much. he just kept rambling and rambling about how passport pictures and pictures and music and then he asked where i was goin and i said ecuador then he was like his gf is from ecuador and that ecuadorian women are nuts. i was like WHATTTTTTT but then he said that i seemed very nice so i might not be nuts but i told him i'd heard a handful of people say ecuadorian women are nuts soooo he isn't too off base hahahaa. so while i was waitin for my pic i went to get a drink, and saw they had the enviga drink so i picked it up in peach. it's sparkling green tea.... i love green tea and i love sparkles hahhaaaa. next time i'll try the berry. i wasnt disappointed. it was good and i didnt finish it too quickly. it took me a good hour to drink just that one can. they guy at the post office where i put to get my passport talked alot too. may be everyone was chatty, maybe i just seemed extra friendly today but it was all good cuz i had that refreshing drink.

btw- i don't hate my passport pic even though i couldnt wear my glasses or earrings!

So close yet so far!

Traffic is soo retarded ugh. LA has the worst traffic that I've ever experienced drivin and sitting through. Cross bronx second worse for me.

I hate traffic because it's like crowded stuck cars then after a certain point go. I mean yea I get it when there's an accident but traffic just because ugh makes me wanna gauge my eyes out.

Pepsi has a deal wit AC cuz there isn't a coke for days. I found one a coke machine at this rest stop mmmmm cold crisp coke uber delicioso! Haven't had it in days!

Back to the car time for another nap!

I take the bus too!

So I live nowhere near the train. I have to take a bus to the closest train stop. What we have here is a pic of those middle seats in a double bus. I remember when the double bus came out when I was in hs, the middle was awesome bc it swivled when ever the bus made any slight turn. I don't like those middle seats bc my feet don't touch the ground. I feel like a super shorty. Sigh.

That's all, almost at the my stop gotta catch the train.

see that thing... behind it are train workers chillen.... loungin around while i wait on the other side the uptown side because during the week for the next week there will be no freaking downtown service from like 10-3.

MTA grrrrr makin me more late than i already am.
