over the past month or so I've been hittin up this spot that's fairly local.... local meaning i can spend less than $12 on a cab from there to my house.... sometimes if i'm lucky i can get a ride to and from courtesy of my younger brother. the owner is ecuadorian that's cool. the bartender is nice that's cool, the people arent young and stupid that's cool and it's just super chills soooo that's cool =)

flats.

today i wore flats because my ankle is a lil achey. i hurt my ankle in ecuador when i was on vacation. freakin steps are huge or may be im just short. i was sober too that's the sick part. i didnt learn my lesson. the same night my ankle hurt i was dancing around in heels then flats but like really dancing, on dirt and rocks too. that's a 3rd world country party for you!

anyways it felt better but yesterday i put on some heels to go out and it was a bit achey. yikes!

ages ages after my vacation in ecuador. i didnt even layout bc it was only sunny 2 days i was there.... and of those 2 days i was only at the beach for like 3 hours and i managed to get a bit sunkissed! and now im peeling gross.

this food is madd ecuadorian. it's called hornado. this one has pork in it. it has like peanut butter in it and onions salsa's put on top. i was soooo hungry the other night i actual ate it. i usually pass on this especially if it's the fish one.

not a good weekend for electronics

so i've got my baby back.... and we were having a lovely sunday lounging around, doin laundry, having a gossip girl marathon then i go to bed. i wake up in the middle of the night because my phone goes off and i look at it and it's completely BLANK. what the fuck. i spent like 10 mins turning it off on, battery, sim and stuff off then on still blank. so at this point i go back to sleep wake up again still blank. my heart sank. by this time it's 530 AM so i call T-Mobile and some super nice girl took care of me! we even spoke about my recent vacation to the motherland. she was el salvadorian and puerto rican but one of her uncles is married to an ecuadorian and her cousins are from manta and love it so now she's like i think i wanna go to. yeaaaaaaa. anyways bottom line im gettin a new phone.... AGAIN... it's been like a month that i've had this phone.... im soooo sad. soooo sad.

i went to bed it was like 7am. i had to be up at 8am to wait for the Direct TV dude come to fix the TiVO. it's almost 12:30 they got here like 20 mins ago. the box will prolly have to get replaced.

i can make list for like everything... i just made 3 lists today... what i need to pack for my trip to Ecuador, what i still need to buy and what i will be doin for the next 4 days until i leave for my motherland. As you can see this is wednesday and thursday... i leave friday super early in the morning... im tellin you i put everything in lists sometimes... even QT with my man.... thursday should be the best day because im goin to do a lil shoppin, dinner wit my girls for my best friends bday then spend the rest of the night wit my hun... i don't plan on sleeping... i leave for the airport at like 5am... for a 10am flight yeaaa dont ask... so yea my crazy ass is plannin on stayin up all night then comin home about 4am, shower get ready and head to ECUADOR!!!

ok so yea this time next friday i will be in the air... about 2 hours away from my destination... my motherland... mi lindo ecuador! wooot im uber excited...

this weekend i need to start sorting to pack... and move my wardrobe into the colder styles. i need to get a coat.... i saw one i think i might get... my moms was like omg too cute... dead ass my moms talks like that sometimes... i might go next thursday during the day... i have to do lots that morning/afternoon/night!!... mani/pedi/eyebrows, shave my legs, last minute shopping, last minute packing, take my bff gigi out for her bday dinner.... i already picked the place... hope she likes it... then i leave friday morning... my tio is goin today... he'll scope things out for us etc etc.

i just want to have a nice vacation.

that's totally what im thinking to myself right now and about MYSELF!!

these past 2 weeks have been ultra busy with me goin out and drinkin, dancin around, stayin up late only to wake up early and tryin to meet boys. i wanted to say act your age not your shoe size but as i was discussing my current behavior with a friend she was like no no not your shoe size 16. then i stopped and completely agreed with her. 16. i was a crazy girl back in those days. boy crazy, party crazy, i could care less.

i'm usually not like this because you kno i'm freakin 9 years older than a 16 year old and i have responsibilities but i think all work and no play has made me temporarily insane. i needed a break from my routine. may be part of the reason is because i feel so alone. my bff is currently takin care of herself and le sigh i miss the days where we could just hang, i miss her. i miss all my friends. life was sooo much simplier at 16.

im goin on vacation in 2 weeks!!! FINALLY ECUADOR... my motherland... ima be 3rd world coutry-in it up y'all! let's hope i get to see something get killed woot i'll take video of that hotness!!

i'm practically a senior.... i need to start goin to bed early.... i tried yesterday.... i seriously got into my bed at like 9pm but i didnt go to bed anywhere near that.... i need a nap... see lil old people take naps....

Prayers

so since my gramp's passin we've had prayer services once a month every month... right after the burial we had it for i think it was 9 nights straight. one of those night someone was nice enough to bring us some people to sing for us. singing and praying... sometimes there's drinking... but it's mostly singing and praying. i've learned my prayers in spanish because of these prayer services.

my mom's hometown will almost ALWAYS be on a map of ecuador if i google it. it's the heart with the name in it JARAMIJO. my dad's hometown is a lil trickier... i was able to pinpoint it but the name of it EL ARROYO does not show on the map. I'm gettin a lil excited about Ecuador!!! my passport came like a week ago wooot =)
